Living in a city where everything and anything you could ever dream of is just a jolly jaunt (or a crowded 45-minute train ride) away, it's easy to forget the rest of the country exists. It's no joke New Yorkers can be a bit self-centered when it comes to us versus the rest of 'em, but this map of America according to a New Yorker from Gothamist sure makes us laugh! Middle America, sorry–you especially have been slighted, but we think the joke's really on us with this ridiculous-but-true visual interpretation of NYC narcissism.
