A Giant Underwater Museum Like No Other

A Giant Underwater Museum Like No Other: "

What do you get when you combine deep-sea diving and sculptures? Answer: an enormous underwater museum. Sculptor Jason de Caires Taylor has turned a part of the National Marine Park of Cancun in Mexico into a beautiful sea attraction. His creation is said to be the largest underwater sculpture museum in the world with about 400 cement sculptures.

It’s not just a spectacle: the museum plays a very important role in aiding the environment. Corals that grow on the sculptures help marine life. Taylor says that he will change the museum’s content on a consistent basis.

Overtime, says Taylor, the corals will bring color to the sculptures, and the fish will help set the right atmosphere. How cool would these images be on postcards?

Another amazing underwater attraction is Nemo 33, the deepest pool in the world.
